A selection of writings
by friends
and fellow tea lovers.

Dear Tea Digest reader,
Your help is needed for an upcoming article!

Are you a tea lover? Do you have a personal tea room in your home? If so, we want to hear all about it for possible inclusion in a soon-to-be-published article.

Thank you very much for your help! Details follow ...

We're looking for personal stories as outlined below.

Answers to these questions can be brief, but please be descriptive. You don't need to answer all the questions, but the more information you provide the better the article -- and the more likely we'll include your story in the article. Send your reply to us via email .

1. Do you have a personal tea room in your home -- a room specifically set aside as your tea retreat? If so, please describe it, how long you've had it, any other information about it. Or if you're setting up a personal tea room, please describe how you're designing it. Is it just for you, or do you share it with family and friends? Do you serve formal tea parties in this room or is it just a casual spot for a cuppa? Is the room designated for any other use apart from tea (crafting, library, music room)? How big is it?

2. If you don't have a separate tea room, do you have one particular space -- a portion of a room, perhaps -- that you've set aside as your tea retreat area? If so, please describe it. Is it set up as a "mini tea room" or just a tea-friendly spot? How big is the spot -- just enough for your comfy chair and side table, or big enough to accommodate one or more other people?

3. If you have a photo you'd like to share, please send it to this email address in *.png format in 200 to 300 dpi resolution. Photos should be of the room/area or part of the room/area. Please do not include yourself or any other people in the photo.

4. Please be sure to include your first and last name, and location -- preferably city and US state, CN province, or other country, but if you'd rather not divulge your specific city you can identify your location by county or other reference ( e.g.: Monmouth County NJ; Long Island's north shore; just outside Montreal; a half-hour from London; etc.). This information *will* be included in the article.

If you have questions, please contact us

Thank you again for your help!
